Her surrogate Anna Paulina Luna told the crowd Angie was afraid to debate. At the same event Moody refused to debate again, called it “hogwash” that she avoids the press and walked off mid-question while her security detail blocked the reporter.
The breakdown
Asked on WIOD what she knew about where the $10 million was going, she admitted the AG’s office “has to sign off” and told him to ask another agency. CBS’s Jim DeFede called it “word salad” and says the last time he asked, she fled.
The breakdown
A court ordered the grand jury report erased on Oct. 7. Now her party is suing 11 Florida TV stations and calling in state police, arguing it’s a crime to repeat what the report said.
The breakdown
With 34 days left, Democrats called her out for ducking town halls and reporters. She said she’ll “keep fighting” for constituents in Washington, which is exactly where Floridians can’t find her.
The breakdown
Angie said yes the day before. Moody’s camp sent back an audio clip calling her “truly anti-American” and promising, “I’m not going to give a stage or any attention to that.” Big talk from a senator who won’t share a stage.
The breakdown
The officials tied to the $10 million kept getting promoted. Moody’s reward was a U.S. Senate seat Florida voters never gave her.
The breakdown
$10 million from a Medicaid settlement went through a charity tied to the First Lady and into political committees that spent it on an election. A grand jury called it misappropriated, charged nobody and never called Moody to testify.
The breakdown
The Senate had two chances to keep ACA premium subsidies alive. Moody voted no both times, which all but guaranteed Florida families a price hike in 2026.
The breakdown
Two major Florida editorial boards, the week she was handed the seat: she called DeSantis “boss,” backed the “gross misuse of state money” against ballot measures and signed onto a 2020 election lawsuit one of her own top deputies called “bats–t insane.”
If you see her ask her about the $10 million Medicaid deal she signed off on
“What did you know about where that money was going?”
“That was an agency that did a settlement and three other agencies, including the attorney general’s office has to sign off on claims, has to review for legalities. So, I think any questions regarding that settlement needs to be directed to that agency.”
“But you were attorney general at the time though?”
“Right, so there were three other agencies that had to review the AHCA settlement for legal sufficiency, which they did.”
So ... word salad?
She’s hard to find. Her donors aren’t.
